![]() We have two basic facets to our awareness. For well-being and growth both facets need addressing. One side is our mysterious side, the other is the realm of reason. Our mysterious side, our female side is our left side, the unknown. It is the centre of intuition and is a non-linear awareness. The right side is host to our linear awareness, a world that has been ordered according to a system. It is known as our male side. Adepts have expanded their descriptions and developed new systems. Systems that cross-culturally basically agree on many aspects of awareness. Our left side is the side of dreaming and silence. It is largely invisible to our right side awareness, reason. In fact our reason, our self-chatter, is the barrier to this other facet of our awareness. We are creatures of reason. However our reason needs ordering before it is ready for expansion. Before the age of reason the world was lost to superstition. In these times it is lost to the rational. Adepts have a very pragmatic way of working with the two bodies, the left and right. We can liken it to a metalworker who shapes the pot on an anvil of a particular shape and beats with a precise hammer, created for the job. The anvil is dreaming, awareness practices and silence. Dreaming sets an intent for expansion. The hammer is knowledge of the minutiae of our lives, through direct observation. It leads to the conscious manipulation of behaviour to become more available and open to our nature. A nature beyond the duality of the world we inhabit. The practices of awareness are more available than they have ever been. There is a great need for them in this crazy world. Make use of what is available, discover a place of well-being within you, beyond the machinations of the world and shine out your light and understanding. ![]() There is a place so subtle and indescribable that is too frolicsome to be identified as anywhere, or anything. Its presence imbues all that exists with vibration, life and consciousness. When we stop naming and describing the world, the world falls away and what fills us, is this presence. Turn down the volume of the world and witness that incredible symphony of being that arises in you. This is a place of clarity, of simplicity, of understanding and harmony. Here now is where it and you exists. As they come together what a joy, what a fulfilment, what a peace in simple being. This place is calling us. ![]() We are in the physical to get physical. Giving attention to the mind/body with consistency opens us and activates the astral or energy body. This energy body is available to us all. Developing the energy body has always been practiced by adepts. Now it is our turn. Consciousness, In whatever way we practice it, is the door to our realisation of those parts of us, that remain hidden. Mood follows posture and posture follows mood, is a powerful aphorism that Carlos Castaneda lived by. He invited others to do the same. Stretch, shake the body, breathe deeply. Develop postures of body and breath, that bring out the best in you. We are Energy beings. Climbing the spirals of energy, that are activated with attention, brings us to ourselves, in all of our wonder. ![]() Sometimes the peak of the mountain, that we dream of standing on seems so far away. The body can be tired, the elements daunting. We can become weary, disillusioned and doubt our ability to accomplish our goal. Life has ups and downs. Sometimes we feel invincible, sometimes vulnerable. This is how it is. Despite these fluctuations we have fulfilled so many yearnings in our lives. Every trekker knows sometimes the journey will be arduous, difficult and dangerous. It is the nature, of high altitude trekking. Common whilst trekking is to see discarded luggage by the side of the path. An arduous journey shows us what is necessary and what to let go of. Trekkers realise what is expedient, to accomplish the journey. Trekkers know all journeys are accomplished step by step. They return to simplicity. Sometimes one breath, one step and then a breath or two to rest. Little oxygen, snow, ice, steep inclines, ravines, crevices and high winds may assail trekkers. Necessity teaches them to pick themselves up after poorly navigating obstacles, or falling. Necessity dictates it. This is the adventure. Trekking is a good metaphor. It hints at the roots of pilgrimage embodying physicality. It embraces the freedom of open space and timelessness. It reflects that pilgrimage to the heart from which all may be explored. Our struggles, triumphs, and failures are par for the course. The peak may be far. Yet there is Earth under our feet, Sky above our head. Life fills us. We chose this journey and will choose others. Bon Voyage.
Particularly since the 1960’s people have travelled off the beaten track, with an intent to learn. They have met Yogi’s and Shamans from around the world and been initiated into many ideas and practices that intend and support conscious human evolution. As they have become practitioners of these arts, consciousness begins to reveal and nurture itself. As part of this enhancement of consciousness then states of harmony, inner silence, trance and lucid dreaming become accessible. The exploration of the wonders of consciousness are not new to the world. Particularly in western civilization there has been little focus on it except within monasteries or with mystics and a few rare individuals. There are classic books from the last few hundred years, that talk about the importance of this subject for humankind.
Many artists, scientists and visionaries of the western world have admitted that some of their greatest achievements were resolved in dreaming. Einstein is famous for the theory of relativity that came to him in dreaming. In ancient societies dreams were recognized as the resource they are. Dreamers and interpreters of dreams were rewarded. Functional medicine tells us that a healthy brain dreams and remembers its dreams. As we become healthier in mind body and spirit, then we are called to this possibility. Many ancient civilizations view life as a dream. Those familiar with yoga will know the word Maya or the illusion of the apparent world. This is an idea that is supported by cutting-edge science.
Dreams are created in the same way. They’re our projection, yet because the dreaming environment is so much more fluid, we can fast track a lot of exploration of our psyche. We can evolve. This is true for all dreamers but for lucid dreamers this is exponentially increased. Lucid dreamers have come to these ideas because they note that when they awaken in their dreams, the world is also seemingly solid. They also note that before lucidity, we are beguiled into thinking our dreams are real. Just as in this reality, this agreement of waking life is real to us, there are other agreements amongst beings that support worlds like our own. Advanced lucid dreamers have access to these worlds and are privy to unimaginable energy and ideas that provide guidance in living in wisdom and creativity.
This workshop uses both modern techniques and practices that have been used and handed down by ancient cultures. Lucid dreaming is possible for all, with some focus and endeavour.
It is interesting that we use the word dream, like idea or wish. We may say I dream of going to India for my travels. There is a magical saying “as above so below, as within so without.” There is a correlation between our night-time and daily awareness. Becoming a conscious creator in your night-time awareness is the perfect arena to hone your skills in literally living the life of your dreams. We were delighted to have some of you share our Christmas Event with us. We intend to have more free events throughout 2018.
Now of course on everyone’s mind is the New Year. What will 2018 bring us? How much control do we have over the events in our life? If we were to initiate any project, then starting from a clean slate always assists us in our endeavour. According to a practice we have found useful, we suggest that at this time of year, we bring some clarity and purpose to our lives. We can clean our homes. Recycle anything we don’t need. Detach and look at what we did in 2017, what worked and what didn’t? Taking an inventory of our life brings us fresh energy. New Year traditionally has us making New Year’s Resolutions. Often they have the best of intentions, which in many cases falter. Clearing our lives of what has become irrelevant to our dream empowers us to go forward strategically and elegantly. Uncluttered we liberate a flow of Intent. Little steps are what we encourage. A little step taken gives us courage to take another. We build up some momentum. Begin to Dream. What position would I like to be in a year, in six months, in three months, in one month, in one week? What steps can I take today that will enhance my journey to living my Dreams? Our events all have at their heart, time-tested practices, that do give us more energy, more clarity, more focus and bring us to detachment and appreciation. From here we can begin to take responsibility for our individual lives as we harmonize with that force that has Intended us here. January starts with looking at our cyclical existence and intending conscious awareness in the Magical Full Moon Ceremony. We invite you to the Sacred Cacao Ceremony, a place to clear the heart and open it to Unconditional Love. Cacao is a power plant, a gentle healer and opener. It gives an incredible boost to all our activities. Unveil the Full Body Orgasm and Lucid in London are fully booked in the beginning of January. We will be continuing with these events throughout the year. Join Gammadian in his evening talk on How Psychedelic Plants Enhance Perception in Old Street, Shoreditch on 12th Feb 2018. This we hope will be the beginning of series of talks on intriguing subjects like lucid dreaming, enhancing awareness and more. We look forward to seeing you. Wishing you a prosperous, purposeful, and enchanted New Year. Gammadian and Ena
![]() My friends and I painted this image of Quetzalcoatl, to further understand this being. This form is a myth from Central America. Most cultures have this same image of the flying snake or dragon. All over Europe we have the legend of St Michael and the dragon slayer. This signifies the war between Sky and Earth energy. The battlefront is our body. There are new times dawning in the Earth and in our bodies. We do not need to slay the dragon. This is the old way. We have the opportunity of harmonising these energies. The serpent is a creature of Earth, he senses her messages first. His whole belly is in touch with her. Snakes are the guardians of knowledge. As our animal nature, our Earthly nature becomes understood by us, then the flow of energy released comes into the upper body. Deeper more powerful breathing is needed in response to this new boost from the Earth, in her response to the Galaxy. As we breathe deeper we open up the chest and the heart. It is here that birds, beings that access the Sky, have their wings moored. As we open our heart, and let it guide us, the exhausting toll of hedonism ceases. The brain begins to be enhanced by the Dreaming mind. Now heart, mind and will together drive you and the inconceivable comes about; the recognition of your nature and the spreading of your wings in acquiescence, to union. This glory has happened to men and women throughout our history, they are remembered in our epics and scriptures. Now. Now is your turn. Now is your turn to acknowledge yourself as the warrior you are. How many battles have you fought both lost and won? See, you are a warrior. Sound your battle cry and rejoice, the war is nearly over. ![]() To occupy that space that is simply you is effortless. As a child you revelled in that space. You don't need learning. You don't need healing or to be spiritual. You don't need accomplishments, to simply be. Once upon a time you had access to this place. Effortlessly you felt very good. Yet in the world of doings, the realisation of the preciousness of this place has often been lost. Funnily, all doings come from a desire to return to that place. Return with me now. Feel your feet on this beautiful Earth. Feel your breath arising and moving through the body. Feel how connected you are to Sky. Be still, witness yourself as the hollow flute suspended between Earth and Sky. Witness Spirit Wind blowing through you. Here is pure creation. Align with that creativity that resides here. From here expression is effortless. Witness yourself as a child of that force that intends you here. Understand your journey. You are delightful, talented, powerful, a genius of creation. Give your attention to what is in the moment. Extract the real, that hides for your delight, amongst the changeable. All cravings leave you here. Now without need, you can freely create as body yearns to express.
One of the biggest challenges in my massage work was keeping my hands in shape and not doing too much massage work, and if I did, it made my hands tired and in pain. Every time I would do more than 2 hours massage a day I would wake up with a numb feeling in my fingers and hands. After about 4 years I've had enough and having done my Being Energy and yoga training, I started teaching movement as well so I don't tire my hands too much. The daily energy practices helped of course but I knew that I had to do something about it and soon! Then I came across the amazing, powerful and pure essential oils from Young Living in 2014. Using authentic oils was a game changer and immediately I could feel the changes but my hands still felt the effects of overuse every time I did a few more hours massage.
It feels so good I feel like I have to share my story so it can inspire other body workers. Even if you do not start offering the Raindrop therapy yourself, you can always get the Raindrop Oil Collection and use it on yourself. It comes with a DVD showing you how to use it. The benefits are endless, keeping your hands in shape just being one of them.
To receive a Raindrop therapy in London this summer, I welcome you in my studio in Willesden Green, NW10. Love and raindrops, Ena |
